I moved out when my lease was up and checked with the front office in charge of managing the building to see if any payment was owed. I was told I did not owe anything. Less than 1 month later, I receive a letter from a collection company, stating I have a debt owed to - - -. Despite my due diligence, I never received any notice of debt or an invoice before account was sent to collections.
