Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt is not mine April 29, 2015 - I sent Amcol a certified letter requesting that they validate this debt they are attempting collect and is stating that I owe. Under the FDCPA I as a consumer have the right to request information to prove that I indeed owe the debt and the said amount. I have attached a copy of the certified receipt that is signed by - with Amcol. I have yet to get the information necessary for them to have before they can legally report or collect this debt.
