I never heard anything else about this. -/-/- I noticed a new collection item on my credit from AMCOL, acct # -. I immediately disputed this as being paid in full. -/-/-, I received a phone call from representative on behalf of - trying to collect this debt again. I advised about the charity care and forward them over all documentation. They advised me this would be closed out. I then forwarded this to AMCOL who told me they would investigate it. Lastly I reached out to - Billing who also said they would investigate this and have the account pulled out of the collection agency. On -/-/-, I called
being damaged. I then reached out AMCOL and spoke with a rep named - who told me that - advised that this debt is still owed and that they will not accept my charity care letter because the account number - is not listed on it. I advised to the rep that Charity care states they do not have to add the account number to the letter because under - - it states that - is responsible for all payments for future visits 12 months after the original visit, which this visit falls in that category. As of today, there is no resolution and no urgency to correct this. I have been going around with both companies while my credit continues to get damaged. AMCOL also tried to state that - was only responsible for - % and i had to explain that the handwriting looks like that but you can see where is says patient responsible for - % and that it is truly - % which charity care can confirm to both AMCOL and -.
