MEFA Student loan can't repay my loan can't temporarily postpone payments December 11, 2015 - I have an - degree from - College. During my time there, I applied for, and received, private student loans from -/MEFA ( Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority ). These - loans equal approximately $100000.00 in principal debt. Upon graduation from -, I was accepted directly into - - - for - school and received and automatic deferral on my federal loans. However, when I contacted -/MEFA, they informed me that my loans could not be deferred, despite being placed in an in-school status. As a full-time student, it is impossible for me to pay the full costs... |
