May 27, 2016 - Received collection letter to the estate of deceased parent. I contacted the originating bank survivor relations department : ( 1 ) the bank did not report anything for collection, ( 2 ) all accounts of the decedent have been paid in full and are closed, ( 3 ) the account number reported does not exist, and ( 4 ) this is a phishing attempt.
