Express Collections, Inc. Debt collection false statements or representation attempted to collect wrong amount October 25, 2016 - -/-/-, I was made aware of an old daycare bill that was in collections. The total amount, with fees included was $470.00. ( The original amount due to the provider was about half that. ) I paid $200.00 down, and set up a payment arrangement for $28.00 a month for ten months.I paid the debt by following the payment arrangement and was recently contacted by a representative of the company to pay an additional $100.00. I do not owe this debt. When I told him that he threatened to seize property, garnish my wages, or let the courts decide. This very same debt is also listed on my cred... |
