Debt collection communication tactics frequent or repeated calls July 14, 2016 - I have been receiving a phone call that leaves a voicemail that is as follows : - Voicemail We have an important message from Eastern account system. This is a call from a debt collector. Please call -. Upon calling this number, it went straight to voicemail. The last two times I picked up when this number called, I asked the caller to identify why they were calling and what the call was in regards to. The first time prompted the caller to hang up as they would refuse to talk until I verified who I was. The second time the caller exhibited the same behavior and I asked that they again ... |
