Mitchell Rubenstein & Associates, P.C. Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt was discharged in bankruptcy December 31, 2015 - I received a dunning letter from a 3rd part debt collector. I attempted to get validation of debt from them by sending - letters to them. I did not receive a satisfactory response. I then sent them an estoppel letter. ( see attached ). This debt collector unbeknownst to me filed an action in - - - courthouse acting as if they were representing - - -, this was fraud on the court. I just discovered a default judgement was entered in - - - - for a debt that was discharged in my wife 's bankruptcy in 2013 as evidenced by her credit report. These 3rd party deb... |
