I filed a dispute with all - of the credit bureaus about inquiries that were on my report from multiple car lenders. The problem is I never tried to get a car. I have been disputing this for months even to the point of the bureaus telling me to contact the companies and ask for a delete letter. However that is impossible because I do not have an account with them nor do they show that I applied for a car or a loan.They said that there was no way they can offer me a letter of such statue. After contacting the companies I called each bureau yet again to dispute, even by sending letters. I also had a fraud alert on my credit file a few months back because of these unauthorized inquiries. - said they are investigating the other - would not do anything. Also when I dispute with Transunion it has been over 30 days with disputes not verified but still remaining.They say that it is taking additional timing to complete. Also with each bureau some of the disputes come back within hours saying verified. Especially - bankruptcies that I never finished going through the court system for. I provided paperwork to transunion showing the case was dismissed and I owe nothing, - balance. They deny your requests by saying verified, but when you ask by who, they can not explain. Then when you try to check dispute status it says can not view, or still pending. I also asked an - Rep to update my current mailing addresses and delete all old ones. He told me that I could not do that since they were apart of my file.
