Bank of America Bank account or service department,

Checking account Making/receiving payments, sending money South Carolina

A check was stolen from my purse, forged, and cashed for $500.00 through an account with Bank of America. It was an obvious forgery that never would have passed a visual inspection. I filed an affidavit of forgery and a police report, but my bank ( - South Carolina ) says that Bank of America is liable for the fraudulent check, and Bank of America says that - is liable. Neither will refund my money.
