I had a Sears Credit Card and used it to purchase a product but during a previous previous purchase of a weed trimmer which was still under warranty and also I had purchased the Protection Agreement ; the weed trimmer stopped working. I took it back to Sears and was told I had to take it to their Service Department and on the second day I took it to the Service Department of Sears and was told that my weed trimmer was a 2 cycle trimmer and Sears policy is to automatically E-CHANGE the product and - in the - MS Service Department gave me a letter and told me to give it to them to get a new trimmer. Well the - Store Manager who had told the floor person to tell me to take it to the Service Department came down on the floor and sort of accused me of stealing ; saying there was no record in her system that I had purchased this product. I had my receipts and protection agreement with me and she had seen them. She proceeds saying I am going to the Service Department myself to see what - is Talking about,


and left. I got home cancelled my account and paid the balance on my Sears Account minus the cost of the Weed Trimmer of $150.00. I Then filed complaints with their customer relations concerning how I had been treated. Explaining I would never DO BUSINESS WITH SEARS again. Sears has the trimmer and I subtracted the cost of the TRIMMER from the balance due in the amount of $150.00. Now, that have continued to bill me on a CLOSED ACCOUNT which I closed around -/-/- and they have added charges and now the balance is $390.00 which includes late charges and interest charges on purchases. I want this to stop!! I pay my bills and I dont owe Sears anything!!
