Citi Bank had a promotion requesting general public to open saving account, maintain the required balance for 3 months and receive the cash bonus. Through their promotion page, I enrolled, opened the account and maintained the required balance. Citi bank promotion page did not say it was a targeted promotion. 3 different citi bank phone representatives confirmed that I have met the requirements of the offer and even gave me a date that by -/-/2016, the cash bonus will be credited into my account. On inquiry in -/-/-, I was first told that it was a targeted promotion. When I proved that it was n't, I was asked to visit the nearest branch to submit all the documents and they will help me resolve the matter. The Branch officials simply washed their hands saying since I opened it online, I should contact the citi bank phone officers. Citi bank Customer support seems clueless about the matter where they are agreeing that I met the conditions but do not know how to resolve it.
