Citibank ( studentloan.citibank.com ) online account password requirements do not allow passwords longer than 8 characters. Per NIST guidance, password maximum limit should be at least 64 characters ( and 8 should be the lowest minimum allowed - not the max, and not for sites containing sensitive data ). I am concerned about the privacy of my information on the Citibank website due to the password limitations. I contacted Citibank over a month ago and asked them to extend the password maximum character limit to a reasonable value, but, so far, they have not done so or indicated that a fix is in progress.
