Billing disputes Idaho

US Bank failed to process payment for a credit card I have with them, then reported late payments to the credit reporting agencies. I attempted to pay on - - 2014, - - 2014, and - - 2014. Because of misleading statements and actions by their representatives, my account has negative information. Details : I had an auto-pay setup that was working fine for months, then a payment was returned for insufficient funds. I tried to make a payment over the phone to one of their reps, long before the " 30 day late '' period. He took my debit card information and went through the motions, letting me know that my payment would be processed. Weeks later, after learning that there was no attempt to debit my account, I again called and spoke to a representative to took my payment information and sent me on my way. This happened repeatedly, and

On my third call, I was transferred to a manager who informed me that there is some policy where payments ca n't be processed over the phone after - comes back with insufficient funds - that I had to go into a branch to make a payment. At this point my account was many days past due, and it was showing on my credit report. Because of the misleading actions of their reps, I have negative info showing in my account. Additionally, I have a witness for all calls and the trip to a local US Bank branch to sort it out. After a thorough conversation with a US Bank representative, it appears that they have conveniently deleted any record of my conversations with them in 2014. I 've gone through their normal process for disputing this, with no results. I do n't know what to do from here.
