I opened a Citi Checking account online. Afterwards, I have so much trouble to set up the online access. After several hours of calling and spending on the phone, I finally gained access to my checking account. Citi disclosed that it has encountered technical problems which lasted almost two weeks. However, when I tried to link the my Citi Checking account to my another bank account, Citi bank asked several questions trying to verifying my identity. The questions are all pertinent to my - children. I have not been in contact with them for almost twenty years and I have no idea when they are. Because I cant ' answer the questions pertaining to my children, I was denied the link to my other bank account. The questions chosen by Citi Bank are arbitrary and capricious.
