Experian Credit reporting department,
Incorrect information on credit report Account status California
I receive credit monitoring free of charge from my bank. In reviewing my credit score, Experian lists reasons that help and hurt your credit score. While reviewing the reasons, I noticed that two of the reasons that help my score are also factors that hurt my score ( please see enclosed document. ) Given there is conflicting information, how is one to improve their score? This is confusing and can lead the consumer to make decisions that can negatively affect their score, while intending to improve their score. This seems very deceptive and unethical. Please help.
