I purchased security for my computer in -/-/- from a company named -. They did not provide security, they actually put spyware on my computer. On -/-/-, I received a phone call from said company, the person stated that - had bought their company and was no longer going to provide security. I was asked if I wanted a refund. I said yes. I was then a victim of their fraud/scam. Somehow they we able to get into all of my accounts with Wells Fargo, transferred money from all my accounts making it look as though they refunded my money. They told me they made a mistake and refunded me $7400.00 instead of $740.00. They told me to withdraw the overage amount and deposit it into another Wells Fargo account, I did so. When I realized that something was going on after looking at all my accounts, they had made several other transfers between my accounts. Within hours I contacted Wells Fargo Fraud Dept.. I have been working with Wells Fargo since -/-/- in regards to all this. They are really good at transferring you to several people until you are thoroughly confused and frustrated. I received a phone message
again on Monday, -/-/-, no answer. I left messages both days for her to return my call. On Tuesday, -/-/-, her message said she would be gone until -/-/-. I then called another customer service number, only to be told by them, that my claim had been denied. I asked " Why did - from fraud dept. call me and leave a message stating that she was ready to credit my account ''? I have been getting the run around the whole time I have been dealing with Wells Fargo. I also have - message saved on my phone. I am a - year old single female and have no one to help me. My life has been turned upside down by all of this and I am in fear of having a nervous breakdown or worse from this. Wells Fargo is now claiming that I owe money on my personal line of credit, my credit card and has reported my name to the credit bureau 's. I am the victim and I did not do anything wrong. One of their employee 's even said to me that I had transferred the money in question, which I promptly told her that I did not. Wells Fargo does not stand behind their customers. They have devastated my life. I am unable to pay my living expenses and am in fear of being on the street with nothing.
