i had a - account with Wells Fargo thru my employer, - that i was not able to transfer until i turned - or until i had not been with the employer for 5 years. Upon turning - on -/-/-2017, i called and aske to have the funds rolled over to my bank, -.I asked to have the funds wired directly but they told me they could not do that and i had to wait for a check.I reluctantly agreed. The funds were to be sent directly to my bank.I got a letter at my home on the - saying the funds were sent.When nothing was received at my bank by the -, my bank and i conference called Wells Fargo and asked where the funds were.They informed me that a check was sent on -/-/- to my bank.We told them that the letter never arrived.They said i had to wait until Friday to do a stop payment on the check and have the funds resent.I called them today, friday -/-/- and asked to have the funds resent.They insisted they


i then asked to have the money overnighted and they would not do that. i rwquested a supervisor and that person agreed to overnight the funds after the stop payment was processed which would be Tuesday. Meanwhile i have not had benefit of use of these funds for all that time. i really believe that the check was never mailed and this is just a delaying tactic for the bank to hold onto this money as long as they can. The amount was not enormous,-, but not insignificant to me. have you had other complaints about Wells Fargo using this stall/delay tactic to hold onto the money of customers trying to withdraw IRA or other funds from this institution? if so, i want to add my name to the list of people that are unhappy about this situation. Why is it that bank want to do everything electronically, including cashing my checks and immediately transferring funds out of my checking account, yet when it comes time for me to get money from my account i have to wait for the Postal System to deliver My funds and then suspiciously, the funds do not arrive??? This is completely unfair to the consumer. I do Not trust Wells Fargo regarding anything they do any more. Also, i feel it is unfair if a Company terminates my employment to have a regulation saying that matching funds can not be withdrawn from an IRA account until i am - or 5 years from Termination.If i quit the company, i canunderstand this rule, but if i am let go, this conditon should be waived or not apply.I have waited two and a half years to access these funds and i still do not have them. Not happy!!
