Wells Fargo Financial National Bank owes me a refund for overpayment on a pay-off for a - - - Account they serviced. The payment was made by a - check and I was told the refund could be sent to my - account. Payment was sent on - -, 2016 ; I called Wells on - - and I was told my a customer service representative that I have to wait until the check clears ( I saw in the online system that my balance was - and the amount of the refund due. I called again on - -, and I was told that I had to wait 15 days for the check to fully clear and a refund would be issued by check. Since I did not receive the refund, I call Wells this morning concerning the status and was told by Customer Service Representative - ( I am not sure if I am spelling the name correctly ) that he would put in a follow-up notice. I told him I wanted to know the status after waiting almost a whole month, and would like to speak with a manager. I was connected to - and I re-told


must verify. I proceeded to give here the routing and account number for -, and that she said was not what she had. I then gave her my - routing and account numbers, that too did not match. I told her I was unsure what she was looking for since my payments were made by EFT from my - account, and some from my - account. I never sent a physical check. At this point she told me a check would be sent in 7-10 days, and the conversation was discontinued. Why could they not credit the refund to the account they received my payments from every month which would get to me quicker than regular mail?
