Installment loan Taking out the loan or lease

Atlanticus Services Corporation Consumer Loan department,

Installment loan Taking out the loan or lease Massachusetts

On -/-/- I applied for a loan on the - website for 0 % interest financing for 18 months. I input my information and was approved for a $5000.00 line of credit. I received my first bill and it states that I am paying 29.99 % financing on my purchase. I called Fortiva Retail Credit and was told that I was n't approved for the 0 % financing but the 29.99 % financing. When I submitted my application, the website never said " your not approved for 0 % financing however we can offer you 29.99 % if you want to continue ''. This is a total bait and switch scam. I would have never gone for the 29.99 % interest rate. I could have used one of my lower interest rate credit cards or not moved forward with the purchase. When I called customer service they told me I signed an online disclosure. I never received it. I went through all of my emails and they only correspondence I have received other than the online application is the monthly statement I received. At the very least, there should be an indication that you have not been approved for the 0 % which is what you are applying for on the - website.
