Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low
U.S. Bancorp Bank account or service department,
Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low Illinois
When I was with - - I opted out of overdraft service so that if I did n't have funds available they would decline my transactions. They were purchased by US Bank and I was told everything had transferred over as identical. Today I found out that instead of declining transactions they put them through and overdrafted me - I tried to find on their site the location where it lists that I have it set up to decline, and not only can I not find that like I could with - - but it does n't even appear to be an option - I can either set it up or do nothing - but I am not allowed to opt out so the transaction will decline. Are n't they legally required to follow a customers wishes when they opt out of this and want their transactions declined? They appear to be purposefully stalling the transactions and they delay sending me my text notifications so as to make the transactions hit because I checked before I went shopping and there was enough to cover then suddenly there was n't - the only explanation is they are n't posting all the pending transactions, just the - they feel like posting.
