JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
Credit line increase/decrease California
This complain is based on the fact that I shell not pay for transaction which are not mine. I have had over 20 years long relationship with CHASE Credit Card and Private Banking and have had no similar disputes in the past. I pay my statement amounts on time and in full with understanding that when there is a disputed charge or an unauthorized charge banks are obliged to follow certain legal standards and pursuant to Fair Credit Billing Act ( FCBA ) : ( sic ) ... '' Credit Card companies must resolve dispute within billing cycles ( but not more than 90 days ). '' - If not they can not collect any disputed amount ''. As you can see form the attached letters, after previously speaking on the phone with the CHASE representative on -/-/- I informed again CHASE Bank Card Service, this time in writing, that I did not recognize specific charges listed in the attached -/-/- letter. After failing to acknowledge the dispute,
reach. Run around and obfuscation was unacceptable. What I experienced during multiple, long holds and transfers around was horrible and it went as far as using low paid employees to bounce you form one level representatives to another whereas those would demanded that I " verify public record '' information that I never gave CHASE but CHASE obtained god knows how and demanded that I verify those before I can be transferred to Fraud Department. For more details please see My -/-/- letter. For example it took me more than 6 calls and voice messages to reach - - - ext - before she returned my call, but not before I threaten to file the complaint with the - - -. Prior to me saying this in my message, she just chose to ignore me. - - NEVER provided any documentation that would in any way indicate that any of the mentioned charges, which CHASE credited -/-/- were mine or in any way authorized by me. CHASE failure to properly start, conduct and complete the investigation and their failure to provide any supporting documentation within the time prescribe by law or even after is the reason why I demand that CHASE issue $8600.00 credit to my account as I paid under protest that amount to avoid negative impact to my credit as CHASE did not issue the credit when I made report, which my understanding is they should have under the law. Comment made by - - on -/-/- that charges that was rebuilt were validated, are flat out lies. The true fact is that my request to CHASE to provide records showing that any of those charges are mine or authorized in any way by me were ignored. Accordingly, I am filing this complaint with request for resolution in the form of full credit in the amount of $8600.00 and if CHASE has any records that any of the unauthorized charges were mine, CHASE is welcome to provide them to you as I received NONE. Sincerely,
JPMorgan Chase & Co. customer in California
