On -/-/2016, I called synchrony bank responding to a settlement offer. At this time I was advised that I was approved as a settlement of - broken into 3 payments in the amount of $76.00, due -/-/2016, $76.00 due -/-/2016 and a final payment of $78.00, due -/-/2016. My first payment cleared without any problems, however my second payment was not deducted out of my account as advised. I called synchrony bank and was advised that my payments were not set up this way. The representative apologized and set the payment up to be deducted and then I requested to speak to a supervisor to ensure that the settlement offer was still going to stand. I was put on the phone with - and advised that a complaint was being entered on my behalf. My complaint number is -. I was advised this complaint will show that I was advised that payments would come out of my account automatically. I was advised to call back two days after the payment posted to ensure that my account was still in the settlement department. The payment was made -/-/2016. I was also advised to set up the third payment at which time


inquiry about my settlement letter, I was informed that the account had been charged off and settlement was defaulted on -/-/2016, 7 days previous to the last payment. Synchrony voided the arrangements which in turn they should not have been collecting any further monies from me on an agreement they voided and they did on -/-/2016. I was advised that there was notification mailed to me. The supervisor - said their was nothing she could do and would update the complaint number listed above. I was told to wait another 45 days for a resolution to be made when one had already been made on -/-/2016 when I was considered in default over ther error and reported to the credit bureau as a charge off.
