Citibank Credit card department,

Citibank put through an unauthorized charge on my account six months after I have dealings with a merchant on another matter. They have refused to provide any documentation regarding authorization of the charge. Meaning, they say they have no documentation and tney say the merchant has no documention, and they neither they nor the merchant are required to provide any documentation. The only documentation they have is documented correspondence from me and phone calls that they charge was fraudulent and not authorized and not paid for six months. They do n't know who decided to pay them but they said it does n't make a difference. They do n't have to do anything or supply me with any copies of anything authorizing the payment. They are very sweet and apologetic and said they will correct it. But the the office of the president got involved and said they do n't have to do anything. It 's been back and forth and back and forth, and in almost a year now they have nothing other than my instruction not to pay anything to the merchant because the bills had already been paid by another credit card.
