Credit reporting company's investigation Problem with statement of dispute Pennsylvania

I had a bankruptcy over 7 years ago. All other reporting agencies have removed it from my report. Equifax continues to carry it. There response was that it stays on for 10 years. Nowhere have I read that a personal bankruptcy stays on for 10 years. Why are they the only ones that continue to want to ruin my life. I 've paid for my mistakes and am trying to move forward but they refuse to let my past go. 7 years is n't enough ...
