I made a cash deposit into my checking account on -/-/2016, at an ATM at - Bank - ATM which the bank I use. The cash deposit was credited on -/-/2016, however, on -/-/2016 the bank charged my account an overdraft fee. I called customer service and was informed that cash deposits made at an ATM are not automatically credited to the account and must be made in person at a branch before -. It is my understanding that a cash deposit is immediately credited and can not be held. THe bank held the cash deposit and charged an overdraft fee.
