Credit line increase/decrease Nebraska
On -/-/2016, I made a $420.00 payment. This would have left me with $560.00 credit available to use on this card. I planned on using this card or about $ - of it for a trip we are taking. On -, after my payment posted of course, I get an automated phone call stating that they have now decreased my credit limit $500.00 leaving me on $69.00 available credit. When I called, they stated that all my payments to them have been on time but tried saying that I 've been paying late on other credit cards I have. That is NOT TRUE. I have NOT missed any payments, in fact since I 've gotten ALL my credit cards, I have paid early in fact. It 's just strange that I 've had this card for a while now and have been making payments twice a month to it and then all of a sudden after a bigger payment, they just drop me. I lost - and a trip with that happening and they were just awful to talk to on the phone. The reason I paid so much is that this is a cash back card and I was trying to earn extra money by paying off a chunk then using it again and so on. It 's almost like they did n't want to have to pay that cash back so why not just drop them down so that they ca n't earn anymore. I now learned do n't trust your credit cards and just use your bank account or cash anymore. I wo n't ever be paying that large of an amount unless I 'm paying off the card to close the account. This is horrible as I have been a great customer paying every 2 weeks on this almost since the day I got it.
