Non-federal student loan Getting a loan can't qualify for a loan

Wells Fargo & Company Student loan department,

Non-federal student loan Getting a loan Can't qualify for a loan Pennsylvania

Our complaint is directed to the possible discriminatory review and decision practices of Wells Fargo. My son originally applied for a loan with Wells a year ago whom he 's had his bank account with for -4 years now & he needed a creditworthy cosigner at which time I applied. We were turned down as my score ( - ) was well below their minimum. Fast forward seven months, I worked on improving my credit score by - points, have had ( as always ) a good paying, stable job, ( my son works 36 hours while remaining a FT student! ) so we should be in great standing yes?! Apparently not good enough for Wells Fargo. After my son looked online and received the decline, I phoned Wells, spoke to " - '' who attempted to decipher why we were declined citing 60 day late payments ( of which there are NONE! ), public records ( had a bankruptcy discharged THIRTEEN YEARS AGO! ), how my credit history was n't long enough ( have had - separate car notes over a span of 12 years including - current ones, mine and the - cosigner for my son, & the

the differences in the information as what was depicted in our conversation, also in the letter later to follow, of how the same agency reported my score - points higher than listed ( Wells lists my score at - ) ; how there are NO 60 day lates listed, etc. No answers, just a half hearted apology and try again (? ). We did and have been doing everything to put us in creditworthy status. We both my son & I literally kill ourselves to continuously be rejected? We 're hard working, honest, dependable American citizens living to be contributory to our society however if we were n't, if we came from foreign soil, we 'd be more able to get a loan (? )?! Why are we able to get a car loan quicker, easier than a student loan? My DTI is at 23 %, he 's working more than he 's being educated. What is considered creditworthy? We 're being isolated, discriminated based on being ethnic hard working Americans. I believe is yet another unethical, dishonest and discriminatory practice on dealt of Wells Fargo that needs to be investigated. I 'm quite sure we 're not the only ethnic Americans this has happened to.
