Credit reporting company's investigation Problem with statement of dispute Arizona
Submitted evidence of letters to and from creditor, - - - -, to Equifax and -. After initially disputing a negative account on my credit reports with Equifax and -, and being told by each that the account was verified or updated without any evidence or proof of this alleged verification, I was then requested by each bureau to dispute the negative account directly with - - - -. - - - - has been reporting for over 6 years now an account that shows a zero balance owed but indicates - alleged late payments.I then sent a certified letter to - - - - on -/-/16 requesting verification per Section -, and that it will be a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) to not provide me proof of such a negative account. For the purposes of 15 USC 1692 et seq., I disputed the validity of the alleged debt and a dispute to the validity of its claims. ( see attached ) I received - separate letters from - - - - in response to my - letter - - dated - -, 2016 ; and - dated - -, 2016 ( see
law to provide me signature proof verification and documentation of this reported account. I received a response dated - -, 2016, which was the same form letter sent to me on - -, 2016, with just the date of the letter changed ( attached ). I then sent all of these letters and correspondences to each credit bureau on - -, 2016, requesting each delete the negative account because - - - - failed under the law to provide any burden of proof for reporting this account. I received a response from - dated - -, 2016 ( attached ), stating it " updated '' the account - even after providing all of the evidence to show that - - - - violated the law and that - was as well by not providing me any verification of proof and must delete the negative account. The same series of responses and correspondences and results came from Equifax ( attached ). I have not heard back yet from - after 30 days. All three legally must delete the negative account or face a small claims action for $3500.00 each in a court of my jurisdiction - plain and simple.
