I financed some dental treatment through CareCredit/Synchrony Bank which offered no interest payable promotion for twelve months. I am at the 10/11 month stage and intend to pay off the charge in full to avoid interest charges. The account is " paperless '' and managed on line. Nowhere is there any provision or " menu '' for online payment in full ; and telephone contact is limited to a automated menu, unless you are willing to pay $10.00. to speak to a representative. I will not pay to speak to an agent, but I have persevered in locating the home address of Synchrony Bank in -, and will send them a check for the full balance. It is obvious to me that the " paperless '' format for managing an account is designed to make it next to impossible to pay off an account in full exposing the card holder to the post promotional high interest rates. I request that you investigate this matter and take such action as you may deem appropriate. - - NJ - -
