Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't get flexible payment options Maryland

I went to - - and told them that I only wanted federal loans. - - acknowledged that they would not take out any private loans ; however, they did. I did not find out that I had a private loan until - -/Naivent began to collect. I am unable to afford the high minimum high interest rate. Whenever I would speak to Navient they would tell me there are options available to me for repayment. When I ask about the options they state that I do not qualify for any of them and that I need to pay in full. Even when meeting my minimum payments it was all going towards interest. When I originally question this I was told that I have to pay the interest for the life of the loan before principal. Navient calls my phone 4-6 times a day every day. When I tell them that I can not afford the cost they tell me that I need to seek money from friends and family to pay them. Harassment and lots of threats with no assistance.
