Credit monitoring or identity protection Problem with fraud alerts California
I received a letter from Experian stating that " we are required to notify you that within the last 30 days changes to your name, address, or Social Security Number have been reported to us by a creditor. '' I have not changed any of these items about myself. I contacted Experian to find out who the creditor is that did this. They will not tell me or provide any details. They asked me to order a copy of my credit report to check that all is correct. I did that and everything is ok. But I still want to know what creditor is trying to change my personal information and I believe Experian is required to provide this information to me.
