Closing/Cancelling account Virginia

I had a credit card account and checking account with Wells Fargo. The credit card account had a cashback program in which I had built a healthy balance. I never violated the cardmember agreement, yet Wells Fargo chose to close my credit card account. The cashback rewards balance disappeared along with it. This also resulted in damage to my credit score.
