I have tried to open an account with Suntrust in conjunction with my - - Member Account. I opened the account online around -/-/-. Suntrust Policy states that an account had to be inactive for 90 days to be closed for inactivity, says the Suntrust representative. Although, somehow my account was closed on - fifth. I just received my Debit Card today, on -/-/-. When I called to activate my card, I was transferred to the Representative that explained the earlier statement, and was told that my account had been closed due to inactivity. When I started questioning that decision and requested to speak to a manager, he became irate and ended the call. This is n't the first time I 've dealt with the exact same situation with Suntrust before. It has happened multiple times. This has to stop.
