This is my third complaint since I opened an account with ELoan ( three months ago ). The issue is with the interest that is compounded incorrectly each month and then transferred into my outside account. The interest for -/-/- and -/-/- was corrected in -/-/- and documented in a letter to me from - - ( Customer Care Popular Community Bank ( no phone number or address on the letter ). The current issue is the -/-/- interest which is short. I ca n't imagine any reason why a bank ca n't calculate the correct interest on an account unless they have their computers set to defraud their customers hoping they wo n't become aware of the discrepencies. - - informed me in his letter that I could not close the account ( the best resolution to the matter ) unless I accept the applicable penalties.
