To whom it may concern, I am writing regarding my current mortgage lending company : Stearns Lending who is currently subcontracting through an agency - to handle some loan issues. I had water damage to my den and back bathroom on - -, 2016. My home insurance company - - sent me a check to repairs these areas. The check for reimbursement $13000.00 was sent to the attention of the lender and myself. I signed the check and sent it to - - - on -, -, 2016 and they were suppose to sign it and issue a new check. I have been waiting 4 months to receive the reimbursement and fix my den and bathroom. In the meantime I have been reduced to using only - bathroom in my house. I have a son that has a - and is seen at -. He - and it is difficult for - people to use - - when someone has a - such as this. Also due to my previous bathroom being gutted it has let mice, ants, roaches and other rodents into my home. This has cause significant stress to me and other members of my household. They recently told me they would send me a disbursement to start the work. I ended up receiving a check for $93.00 in the mail. I 'm not sure how they think this will get me started but I did not cash it. I do n't understand why they are holding on to the funds to fix my home. I have provided all the necessary documentation and permits. I need help. I have spoke to various managers and no one is doing anything. Also I am also the one that payed the insurance to cover my home. I spoke with - - and they also do n't understand what is taking so long and why the home has not been repaired.
