I called MoneyGram on -/-/2016 in reference to transaction # - to ensure that their would be no problems with the money transfer due to previous denials of transfers. I was told that the transaction would n't be denied, however ; it was denied after funds were sent. MoneyGram will not provide information to why the funds transfer was denied and MoneyGram will not immediate refund the money so that I could use another service to send the money. MoneyGram holds the funds for up to one week which causes a financial hardship for the customer and the recipient which further delays the necessity of the transfer of funds.
