Hello, I went to the ATM at the - at -, -, Florida -. I went to withdraw money but had requested an account inquiry by mistake. I figured no big deal since it was only an account inquiry. I decided not to withdraw any funds. Later when I got home I checked my balance online and saw $2.00 was taken out. First on all I checked my balance once and even if I did check it more than once what company charges to check balance multiple times at that. Second there was no warning that they would charge this fee else I would have said no. Finally this is intentionally deceiving patrons who use the machines. There was a lady there I spoke to said Citibank took her for $10.00 cause she checked her balance. It 's not the amount but the principle that a big bank would stoop to this level of not making it clear that you will be charged to check balances. It is in a poor neighborhood so that could be a factor to rob the poor.
