I obtained all - of my credit reports and my - credit report shows a 90 day late payment, dated - of -. This is - - so this information is 7 years and two months old. As per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, my rights as a consumer are that a consumer reporting agency may not report negative information that is seven years old. I was denied for a conventional home mortgage due this piece of information that is not even supposed to exist on my credit report, as of 2 months ago.
