Sterling Infosystems conducted a background check on me for employment with - and there was false information on my report. It said that I had a felony charge for disorderly conduct and a misdeameanor charge for assault which is also not true. I was charged with a - in 2010 and a -, not a - in 2010 as well. Because of this, my job offer was revoked and the company has yet to send me the proper paperwork to dispute the claim with them. The background check was completed last month and I have been trying to get this straightened out. I want this taken off my record and they also only verified the information by my name and nothing else. They have caused me to be unemployed and out of a job because of a careless mistake on their behalf.
