CFPB : I am writing to dispute erroneous credit reporting of my student loan by Wells Fargo Bank in my -, -, and - credit file. Wells Fargo is reporting that my student loan, which I have never been delinquent on, is in Chapter - Bankruptcy " Wage Earner ''. This item Chapter - Bankruptcy is inaccurate because I never filed Chapter - Bankruptcy. I have requested that the information reported to the credit bureau be corrected on numerous occasions. Wells Fargo has responded that it was in fact an error, and that it would be resolved ( attached is a letter from Wells Fargo ). However, they only removed the erroneous information for a short period of time, and then it was re-reported erroneously months later. I am requesting that the item be corrected immediately and for GOOD. I am extremely frustrated and exhausted of having to deal with this situation over and over again. This reporting error has caused my borrowing cost to increase and has lead to instances where I have been denied credit. I am in the middle of a refinance on my home loan, and this reporting error is leading to substantial financial loss. This


Fargo has repeatedly violated the FCRA ( Fair Credit Reporting Act ), and as aforementioned, is causing me financial loss. I have filed numerous disputes in regards to this error including a letter mailed to the address below on -/-/2013 and I am still dealing with this issue : ( see attached ) WELLS FARGO. - Credit Bureau Dispute Resolution - - - - -, IA - I am hopeful that we can get it corrected this time!
