I finally after 10 years of fighting got approved for my modification with Wells Fargo, however they approved me for a modification of $290000.00 the amount my house was appraised for. The payments are $1500.00 at 2 % then they go to 3 % after 7year and are fixed. When I made my trial payments of the $1500.00 they sent me the modification mortgage to sign and the principle balance is now $640000.00! My home is not even worth $640000.00! I want this investigated. They are committing fraud. I thought this would be over and I would finally get my new modification. Then they send out - payments amounts. I have attached the documents.
