I have maintained a Macy 's credit card for several years and pay the balance monthly. In the past 6 months, DSNB/CitiBank has been charging a $1.00 'Minimum Interest Charge ' each month, compounded, regardless of account balance. In other words, if I have not used the card and have - balance, the fee is still charged each month. I pay any balance in full well before the payment due date and the fee is still charged. When I dispute the fee by calling DSNB, they immediately credit the fee. This is my inconvenience to wait on hold each month to correct DSNBs credit card add on fee. Admittedly, I have not audited my account over time to see when DSNB started this practice. The DSNB is charging this nominal credit card add on fee regardless of balance, which most will likely pay much less notice on their statement.
