In early -, i applied and was approved for a credit card by wells Fargo bank in order to build/ establish credit but in - - I informed the bank that my card was missing and informed me that it will be cancelled. In - i noticed a cash advance of $350.00 in my statement and i proceeded to call the bank. I was told that it was a transaction that happened in -. I live - hours away in - - Virginia. Since it was clearly a fraudulent transaction, i filled a claim with them and was assured that all will be well. While reviewing my credit report in -, i saw a derogatory comment from wells Fargo stating that I was 3 months in arrears. I proceeded to have a notarized statement sent to them in - - defending myself. I also noticed that they had linked my CC to my checking account without my consent. My numerous attempts to have this solved have been in vain
