Savings account Deposits and withdrawals Texas

I have a savings account with the Pentagon Federal Credit Union. I have been making deposits once a month for many years. Several months ago I got a notice threatening to send the balance of my account to the State of Texas because presumably my account had been dormant for more than a year. Of course, I called them up and a service rep told me that was a mistake. I was advised that my account was not dormant and to ignore the message. I am now in the process of buying a home and found out that in - of 2016 PFCU withdrew $29000.00 from my account and sent it to the State of Texas! While the PFCU reps accept they made a mistake, they still claim I have to wait from 90 to 120 days to get my money back! I am in the middle of a contract to buy a home and need the money right away. I risk to lose the home I want to buy. I have wasted a lot of time on resolving this issue. I have called PFCU about five times. They always promise to look into it and call me back. They never do.
