I paid my account balance off in mid - per the statement. On - I received a bill for $6.00. I called Citi and spoke to a rep who stated it was residual interest. I asked for it to be waived considering a made a substantial payment of over $ -, had been a customer for over 4 years and was in good standing. The rep passed me to an Account Manager where I was told it 's a valid charge and there is nothing she can do about it. I said this happened once before on a different Citi card and the residual interest was waived. The - stated it should n't have been waived and I have to pay it. I asked if they were willing to lose a customer over $6.00 and was told sorry if that 's your decision but it 's a valid charge. I expressed my dissatisfaction and could n't believe how I was being treated and closed my account. I paid the $6.00 and will never open or use Citi in any capacity moving forward.
