Bridgecrest is reporting on my credit report as a repossession. After several attempts ( all documented ) the credit is refusing to verify the debt according to FDCPA - and Arizona - - -. In my attempts Bridgecrest has only responded with the same letter stating that I need to verify my address because they have a different address on file. My direct dispute attempts have been met with an illegal attempt to shift the burden of proof to me. In violation of FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 8 ) ( D ), 16 CFR 660.4 and Arizona Administrative Code - Bridgecrest has made several attempts to collect the debt since receiving my letters. These attempts include updating my credit report, sending debt collection letters, and verifying false information to the credit reporting agencies.
