BB&T Financial Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Taking out the loan or lease North Carolina
My wife and I needed a vehicle but due to our financial situation we had to get our loan through Regional Acceptance Corp based at - - - - - - - -, a subsidiary of BB & T banks. We paid the amount of the loan $440.00 every month, but due to other financial situation we ended up having to declare bankruptcy. We decided to keep the vehicle as the asset we could retain, in lieu of the house, as per the bankruptcy proceedings. Our lawyer stated that we could delay payments on the vehicle, But I Repeat, we did not delay or defer any payments to - - prior to, during or after the bankruptcy proceedings. - - however locked us out of our account on the internet and informed us that we now had to send the payment to - Bankruptcy Dept. - - - - - - which we did each and every month. We have not received a statement from - - - for over 48 + months. We have sent to them along with our payment check our new address and our new phone numbers when we moved from - to -, but we
have any late fees attached if they received the payment at or before the - of each month. Our loan was for six years and should have ended in either -/-/- or -/-/2016. It is now -/-/-, we have not received the title to the vehicle or a statement. Are we suppose to pay for this vehicle for eternity or what?
