A month ago we were vacationing in CA and purchased items at Macy 's in - - ; the sales clerk talked us into getting a credit card and said we 'd get a discount. We never got a bill and started getting calls a week ago that our bill was overdue ; we got another call yesterday and another one today. Each time I explained that we never got a bill and I do n't conduct that type business over the phone because of all the scams that circulate. Each time I asked them to send me a bill and they said they would. Today I reiterated that to the person on the phone, and he said then that the records showed that they had called yesterday, that they would send me a bill, but if I wanted to stop the phone calls I would have to pay him now. I said I would not pay unless I received a bill. The man I spoke to yesterday said the bill was being sent and that I did n't have to pay until I got the bill and would incur no interest charges. The man who called today said the phone calls would continue unless I paid him immediately even though I had n't received the bill. This appears to be harassment to collect a bill for which I have not received a bill statement, and I have not received the credit card.
