Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
Synchrony Bank 's, for the American Eagle credit card, online system shows a late fee despite my payment being made on-time ( by - - at - Eastern ). I made my payment at - Eastern. According to the unprofessional CSR talking over me and laughing while I was talking to her the system automatically generates a late fee if a payment is posted to the account by -. This was not stated in any notice to me. She claims that " the system '' does n't recognize the payment until the payment posts and is no longer in a pending status. All I saw was a notification e-mail that I was charged a late fee.
